Go Patterns are for smart, interesting and creative women who travel, shop, raise kids, work and still have time for fun! Whether it's a first date, that special Saturday night with your husband, or the girls' night out, these patterns make you feel as special as you are!

We've studied the fashion magazines, the international runways, and the trend reports and picked out the best ideas to develop for our pattern collection so that each pattern is special, fashion forward and wearable. We do this so you can stop wasting time wading through the hundreds of other ordinary patterns at other pattern companies to find the few special ones.

The best part is that our patterns are drafted using French pattern making techniques, giving them that extra advantage in fit and design, that certain "Je ne sais quoi!" Our patterns are carefully drafted, checked, sewn and resewn by many people before they make it into the Go Patterns envelope.
Allison Page
(Ally)

Allison began her love of fashion at a very young age, as her mom was an avid fashionista and sewer who made all of her and Allison's clothes; most memorably, her mom made a strawberry print dress for herself with a matching sunsuit for Allison when Allison was 3 years old! This kindled a love of fun, fresh, whimsical fashion.
Allison spent her teen years poring over fashion magazines. Later in her 20's, she began taking formal sewing and patternmaking classes and began to make everything she wore, spending many a late night finishing a dress for a party the next day! Allison often made custom clothes for friends on the side and decided to pursue her love of fashion and sewing more seriously and enrolled in the patternmaking program at Apparel Arts, graduating in 1998. She began teaching tailoring, fitting and sewing classes while testing patterns for the Threads pattern review and also writing articles for Threads. She has also done patternmaking and custom couture sewing for private clients, all while trying to make cute clothes for herself!
Her dream all along, however, was to start a small pattern company offering the most current, cute, in fashion and on the runway looks for the young and young at heart sewer, and when Allison met Madeline (who had the same dream, natch!) Go Patterns was born!

Madeline Rogers
(Maddy)

As a determined four year old, Madeline insisted she could repair a hole in her dress better then her ma and took the needle into her own hands. Madeline has enjoyed sewing clothes for herself and for her friends since then. She took a brief break to become a CPA, and while it seemed like the "smart" thing to do, it still led her back to her fashion roots. She specialized in accounting and consulting for apparel manufacturing companies. Being back in buildings with lots of fabric in them, Madeline was inspired to study patternmaking. Madeline graduated from the Apparel Arts patternmaking program in 2006. Additionally she earned a diploma from Pacific Fashion Institute in San Francisco and has studied French patternmaking with Simon Sethna. Madeline has made custom clothing for a private clientele for years and has worked as a designer and patternmaker for Sportiva, a volleyball sportswear company. Madeline's dream has always been to start a small pattern company that offers the most current, cute, in fashion and on the runway looks for the young and young at heart sewer, and when Madeline met Allison Go Patterns was born!
